Ademco Wireless Receiver 5881ENH - Home Security System Alarm Sensor for Burglar & Fire Protection - Perfect for House, Office & Business Safety

I got this to replace an 8 channel Ademco Tx/Rx of the same type. This was a simple install, basically a plug and play with no issues whatsoever. Of course, the channels had to be adjusted, but once that was done, this works like a charm.I have no facts, but this SEEMS to have a bit longer range as I can use my key fob further from the house than I could with the older unit. Again, I did not measure it, it just seems to have greater spread of the signal.
