At first glance this seems like a neat design for earbuds. Unfortunately the design doesn’t work too well, at least not for what I want. I’m used to having the noise cancelling aspect for earbuds. These are more open ear, kinda of like just having a tiny speak next to your ear. This makes it a bit easier to hear things like people talking, but it also means loud noises can drown out the sound coming from them as well. In fact most of the appliances in my house, like the vacuum, the blender, etc make enough noise to completely block out the sound coming from these even on a louder volume.The clip around the ear seems neat and it sounds like some people have had luck with it but it just doesn’t fit well on my ear. It takes a lot of fiddling to get it to a spot that feels comfortable and the rubbing around from it moving makes my ears a bit too sensitive to keep wearing them. This is unusual since I typically wear earbuds for most of the day and don’t have this issue. Speaking of all day, the battery life on these is somewhat lower than other earbuds I have used. I’d say they lasted about 4 hours on a full charge, whereas other earbuds I’ve used that are roughly the same size last about 4-5 times longer.The sound quality isn’t anything special and I’d say it almost suffers a bit from how it sits on your ear. The case is nice and it’s easy enough to put the earbuds away and charge them. There’s no way these would stay in place if I was doing any sort of physical activity, especially running or jogging.
